Chicago Public Schools (CPS) serves over 300,000 students across more than 600 schools, making it the second-largest public school system in the United States. As CPS pursued a future-ready education model, it faced growing pressure to modernize its IT infrastructure and ensure reliable digital access across its distributed network of campuses. The Board of Education selected Level‑1 Global Solutions along with Sentinel Technologies and others, to lead the districtwide transformation, entrusting both firms with high-stakes infrastructure upgrades to support learning, safety, and operational continuity. 

Level‑1 partnered with CPS to assess the entire IT enterprise from aging WAN/LAN infrastructure to school-level endpoint management thus delivering an adaptive, scalable roadmap aligned with educational and operational priorities. The engagement encompassed physical and cyber systems, data center relocations, audiovisual integration, and policy-driven advisory services across network performance, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
