Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination
Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination Policy
At Level-1 Global Solutions, dignity, fairness, and respect are non-negotiable. We are committed to maintaining a workplace free from harassment, bullying, and discrimination, where every individual is empowered to contribute without fear of intimidation or exclusion.
Level-1 strictly prohibits harassment or discrimination based on race, sex, gender, color, creed, religious belief, citizenship status, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic. This standard applies not only in the workplace but also to client sites, off-site events, and digital environments, including social media.
Definitions and Examples:
- Psychological Harassment: Vexatious or contemptuous conduct, whether actions, remarks, or repeated gestures that undermines an individual’s dignity or well-being. This may include belittling comments, intimidation, threats, or exclusion. A single severe incident may also constitute harassment if it causes lasting harm.
- Sexual Harassment: Any unwelcome sexual advance, request for sexual favor, or verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with work performance or creates a hostile environment. This includes conditioning employment benefits on submission, retaliating against those who resist, or repeated, unwanted expressions of interest.
- Bullying: Persistent or malicious behavior that humiliates, threatens, or undermines. Examples include slander, derogatory remarks, physical intimidation, hostile gestures, or deliberate social exclusion. Constructive performance feedback is not bullying, but behavior intended to demean is.
Any employee who experiences or witnesses harassment, bullying, or discrimination is encouraged to report it immediately. Reports should include:
- A description of the behavior
- Names of the individuals involved
- Dates, locations, and circumstances
- Any witnesses or relevant details
Supervisors must forward all reports promptly to Level-1’s executive leadership. Complaints will be investigated thoroughly and confidentially, with all parties interviewed and facts reviewed. No employee will face retaliation for making a complaint in good faith.
Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contracts. In serious cases, matters may also be referred to external authorities, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where applicable.
We do not compromise on respect. At Level-1, harassment and discrimination have no place. By upholding this policy, we ensure our teams can do their best work, our clients can rely on professional integrity, and our workplace reflects the inclusive, collaborative values we stand for.
