Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery
Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery Policy
At Level-1 Global Solutions, we believe that technology and infrastructure should advance human dignity, never exploit it. We are unequivocally opposed to all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, and child labor. These practices are incompatible with our values, our mission, and our responsibility to the communities we serve.
Level-1 maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward human trafficking and modern slavery in all its forms. This extends to every part of our operations and supply chain. No employee, subcontractor, vendor, or partner may engage in practices that exploit vulnerable individuals or compromise fundamental human rights.
Our approach is guided by international conventions and laws, including:
- The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs)
- The ILO Forced Labour and Child Labour Conventions
- Applicable anti-slavery and anti-trafficking laws in the jurisdictions where we operate
We require suppliers, contractors, and business partners to demonstrate compliance with these standards as a condition of doing business with us. Contracts include clear obligations prohibiting the use of forced or trafficked labor.
To prevent and detect risks of human trafficking or modern slavery:
- We conduct supplier assessments and risk-based audits where appropriate.
- We require written certifications from subcontractors affirming compliance with anti-trafficking laws.
- We implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure accountability across complex supply chains.
- We provide channels for reporting concerns, including confidential, non-retaliatory reporting for employees and third parties.
Every employee has a responsibility to uphold this policy. If anyone suspects or becomes aware of human trafficking, forced labor, or modern slavery linked to Level-1 operations or supply chains, they must report it immediately to their manager, the HR team, or the Legal/Compliance office. Reports will be investigated promptly, and corrective measures will be taken, including termination of contracts or relationships with violators.
Human rights are not negotiable. By embedding vigilance into our culture and supply chains, we ensure that the systems we design, build, and maintain are grounded in fairness, integrity, and respect.
At Level-1 Global Solutions, building the future means safeguarding the most fundamental freedom of all, the right to live and work free from exploitation.
