As the digital demands of Cook County’s justice system continue to grow, so does the need for resilient telecommunications infrastructure that can protect critical equipment and ensure uninterrupted services across the court system. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County tasked with managing court records for one of the largest unified judicial systems in the world turned to Level‑1 Global Solutions to deliver a cost-effective, secure, and future-ready technology solution. 

This upgrade was not about building an entirely new facility, it was about engineering smarter, more agile infrastructure within the footprint of existing facilities. Level‑1 was selected as the prime contractor to deliver a modern telecommunications enclosure system that supports high-speed connectivity, enhances power reliability, and strengthens physical and environmental protections for essential court communications. 

What We Delivered 

• Multiple custom-designed distributed telecom enclosures featuring an 84×36-inch glass cabinet with secure rackmount capacity 
• Dual-locking security on both cabinet access points, preventing unauthorized entry while preserving maintainability 
• Integrated cable management with pre-perforated access ports to allow for seamless hard-wired connections 
• Built-in power protection systems including UPS integration for uninterrupted network operations 
• Environmental monitoring sensors to track and report temperature, humidity, and power draw in real time 
• Browser-based SNMP dashboard, custom-built by Level‑1 to provide remote administrators with secure, intuitive access to system analytics 
• Scalable enclosure solution that can be deployed across multiple court and administrative facilities, without requiring a full data center retrofit 

By replacing aging or piecemeal infrastructure with intelligent, self-contained enclosures, the Clerk’s Office gained a high-performance telecom solution with low overhead, strong security, and continuous monitoring capabilities. The system was specifically tailored to the needs of judicial administration where uptime, data integrity, and physical access control are paramount.
