Workplace Violence Policy

At Level-1 Global Solutions, we believe every person- employee, client, subcontractor, or visitor deserves a workplace that is safe, secure, and free from fear. Trust, respect, and collaboration are the foundations of our success, and we will not tolerate threats, intimidation, or acts of violence that compromise them.

Workplace violence includes any behavior, physical, verbal, or psychological, that endangers the safety or dignity of others. This policy applies across all company sites, client locations, and off-site activities. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Physical attacks: hitting, shoving, kicking, or other physical aggression.
  • Threatening behavior: gestures or actions implying harm, such as shaking fists or throwing objects.
  • Verbal threats: explicit or implied statements of intent to cause harm.
  • Harassment or abuse: bullying, intimidation, racial or gender-based slurs, or any conduct meant to demean.
  • Property damage: vandalism, arson, or destruction of personal or company property.

Creating a safe workplace is a shared responsibility. Level-1 conducts regular risk assessments, evaluating:

  • Past incidents or emerging risks
  • The nature of specific projects or work environments
  • Physical layouts and external site conditions

Employees are not expected to be experts in threat assessment but are expected to use good judgment. If you observe concerning behavior, hostility, intimidation, or threats, report it immediately to a supervisor or HR representative.

Level-1 strictly prohibits the possession of firearms, weapons, or dangerous objects in offices, vehicles, or client sites. This rule applies to all employees, subcontractors, and visitors, regardless of permits or licenses. Violations will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and may involve law enforcement. Any exceptions require written approval from senior leadership and the Risk Management team.

We encourage employees to report incidents of workplace violence promptly. Reports may be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation. All complaints will be investigated swiftly and thoroughly.

We also recognize the impact of workplace violence on individuals and families. Counseling and support resources are available to affected employees, and the company will take every reasonable measure to protect their well-being and peace of mind.

Incidents of workplace violence will be addressed with decisive action, including disciplinary measures up to termination and, when necessary, law enforcement involvement.
