John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital is a flagship institution within Cook County Health and a nationally recognized level 1 trauma center. It anchors one of the busiest emergency and specialty care systems in the country, serving a population that relies on its advanced trauma, burn, and rehabilitative care services. As part of its mission to modernize and elevate patient care, Cook County Health undertook a major renovation of Stroger’s Trauma, Burn, and Rehabilitation Unit, one of the largest and most specialized of its kind in the United States.
Level-1 Global Solutions was selected to redesign advanced IT and communications infrastructure for this highly sensitive renovation project, a hospital we originally helped design when it was first built. With decades of experience supporting mission-critical healthcare systems, Level-1’s role was essential in ensuring the unit’s new technologies were seamlessly embedded into the hospital’s operational and clinical environment without interrupting ongoing patient care.
